Gluten Free Recipes

I've been trying to get this information to my mom for a while, and for some reason, our e-mails don't like to communicate. So I'm passing information through my blog. :)

Here is the link for the Bisquick-like Mix (scroll down a little). She says you can use it cup for cup like you would Bisquick.

She also has a pretty extensive Recipe site. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, there is a whole section of recipes that use the Bisquick Mix.

She also has a Yahoo Group that is very active. They share tons of recipes on there, and they are always very helpful! They do just chat a lot though too, and so you might have to wade through all the chit chat to get to some useful information, but there are tons of recipes. If you need help in actually getting to the messages I can help you when I come over, or you could ask some of the computer-savy individuals living there.

Venting

Three weeks ago, we started on our sprinkler system. I have been taking pictures, and when we are finished, I will post it all on here. Right now, we are NOT finished, and I am getting very frustrated with my yard looking like a war zone. This project has turned out to be much bigger than I thought it would be. For weeks we have been concentrating on the "finishing details," but those details have not turned into a finished project. We are so close. I keep trying to picture what my yard will look like when we are finished, and that motivates me to keep going. I need to quit focusing on getting it all done, and just focus on getting something done. Hopefully, soon I will be posting about my finished sprinkler system, and soon after that I will have pictures of my beautiful yard with GREEN grass!! I can't wait!

Superhero Makenzie

Makenzie was supposed to be upstairs cleaning her room when she came down in her little double leotard. She was picking up a few of her things that had been left downstairs when she found her boots. She was looking for her pink supergirl cape to finish off her superhero outfit, but she can't get out any new toys or dress-ups until her room is clean, so she settled for her brother's batman cape.

For the record, I did not coach the poses. Those are genuine Makenzie!

She is now upstairs cleaning her "lair."

--- About 20 minutes later -----

I spoke too soon. She found her cape, and a sidekick.

And Finally- "Now we need a picture with our superhero poses. Morgan, this is mine. Why don't you stand like this?"
